2nd Grade Suggested Supply List:


*Backpack (labeled) Please be sure that it holds at least a folder

No rolling backpacks-they take up too much room and students trip over them

*Lunchbox (labeled with your child's name), if planning to pack lunch

*Water bottle (labeled)…Please bring every day!

*One (1) ½ inch three ring binder (white and labeled, please)

*Plastic Pencil Box (8”by 5”, labeled please)


Please DO NOT write your child’s name on these items.

*6-12 glue sticks

*24 or more Dixon Ticonderoga #2 pencils (these are the best)

*Two packages of assorted colored highlighters

*Pink Pearl or Art Erasers (no pencil top erasers, please)

*Two to Three boxes of Crayola crayons:  16 or 24 count please

*One box of colored pencils

*One box of washable markers

*Regular Expo dry erase markers

*Thin Line Expo dry erase markers

(these are used daily in Fundations)

*Mini-erasers or Clean Socks (for their dry erase boards)

*Two Spiral notebooks (single subject, wide ruled)

*Two Composition books (wide ruled, please)

*Three 2 Pocket folders (one with prongs)

No personal sharpeners please

Optional and Greatly Appreciated:

*Sticky Notes (assorted colors and sizes, please)

*Lunch bags (brown and/or white)

*Ziploc bags (variety of sizes)

*Reams of white or colored paper, regular and cardstock


*Hand sanitizer

*Fun band-aids

*Sanitizing Wipes

*Gift cards for classroom supplies (Wal-Mart, Target, Teacher Store)
