Sean Husmoe - Sean believes public education has a responsibility to provide each student with an opportunity to reach their own academic potential while also helping students develop the necessary social skills to be able to provide meaningful contributions to their community. Litchfield Elementary School District has had outstanding success in these areas and Sean is working to continue this trend by providing financial accountability to the community, helping to improve the ways in which students, educators, and schools are evaluated, and advocating for school funding throughout all levels of government.
Sean is a finance professional with twenty years of experience. Currently the CFO for a large non-profit in the valley, Sean's financial expertise helps the board in fulfilling its fiduciary oversight responsibility while also assisting the administration with strategic planning. One of Sean's priorities is ensuring funds are allocated in the best way to have the greatest impact on all of our students. He has been a resident of Goodyear and Litchfield Elementary School District since 2006, and has actively been involved in the community through numerous opportunities at our schools and local sports programs. Sean and his wife Melissa have two daughters who attend our local schools.
