Boundary Revisions Survey #2 – Possible Scenarios

The purpose of this survey is to gain the community’s perspective and feedback on 3 possible scenarios for boundary revisions. Each revision scenario has a grid map showing where each attendance area is, a map showing impact for grades K-5, and a map showing impact for 6-8th grades. Below the maps, you will see a summary of potential boundary revisions by attendance area.

Community feedback is crucial to the Boundary Revisions Committee and this process. Please take a moment to take the Boundary Revisions Survey #2.

Litchfield Elementary School District Boundary Revisions Committee

In preparation for the Fall 2019 opening of Litchfield Elementary School District's School 16, recently named Belen Soto Elementary School, a Boundary Revisions Committee has been assembled to inform Superintendent Gunning's boundary revisions recommendation to the Governing Board in December 2018. The Boundary Revisions Committee is comprised of 14 parents, non-parents, Litchfield and Agua Fria District staff, and community leaders who will value and protect a participatory process that welcomes community input. The committee will weigh key considerations, data, and all input from all stakeholders.

Belen Soto Elementary School will serve kindergarten through 8th grade students. This name was approved at the October 16th Governing Board Meeting. The funds to construct the new school and complete other facilities renovations will come from the November 2014 bond that was generously approved by local voters.

Please email your ideas and questions to the Boundary Revisions Committee at BRC@lesd.k12.az.us.
