Shawn M. Watt Governing Board President Email: shawn.watt@lesd.k12.az.us Shawn M. Watt and his family have lived in the district since 2000. He has a daughter who attends Millennium High School and his son attends Western Sky Middle School. Shawn is employed by United Health Group as a Senior Claims Business Processing Consultant. He has served on the LESD Governing Board since January 2005. Shawn also currently serves as Chair of the Arizona Board of Education's Certification Appeals Advisory Committee and member of the Certification Advisory Committee, and as a member of the Arizona School Boards Association's Legislative Committee, Safety Committee, and Action & Response Team. He also sits on the Arizona Republic's Parent Advisory Panel and enjoys coaching local youth soccer.	Shawn M. Watt

Sara Griffin Governing Board Member Email: sara.griffin@lesd.k12.az.us Sara Griffin has been married to her husband, Lowell Griffin, for 16 years and has four children ranging from 4 to 12 years of age. She has been a part of the Litchfield Elementary School District since 1978, first as a student and now as a parent of three students who currently are attending Litchfield District schools. After receiving her bachelor’s degree in nursing, Sara moved back to Litchfield Park with her husband in 1997 to raise a family. As a nurse she has worked in oncology, home health, labor and delivery, and postpartum. Sara has actively participated in appointed school board committees and has attended school board meetings frequently since 2005. Sara is looking forward to being a part of the school board and being an advocate for all who are a part of the Litchfield District: students, teachers, staff, and parents.	Sara Griffin

Stephanie Mika Governing Board Member Email: stephanie.mika@lesd.k12.az.us Stephanie Mika and her family have lived in the district since 1999. Two of her four children attend Litchfield Elementary School. Stephanie received a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree from Ohio State University in Elementary Education. Stephanie has taught for 11 years in a variety of grade levels. She is also an adjunct professor at Estrella Mountain Community College and Northern Arizona University.	Stephanie Mika

Dr. Kay H. Hunnicutt Governing Board Member Email: Kay.Hunnicutt@lesd.k12.az.us Dr. Kay H. Hunnicutt is a Professor Emeritus at Arizona State University in Tempe. Dr. Hunnicutt recently retired (after 35 years) as a professor of educational leadership and policy studies and taught undergraduate, masters and doctoral level courses related to law and education. While at ASU she served as an Associate Division Director, Coordinator of the leadership program in Educational Administration and Supervision and Coordinator of the DELTA Doctoral program. She received her Ph.D. in Special Education Administration and Psychology from Southern Illinois University, Carbondale, and her Juris Doctorate (J.D.) from the Sandra Day O'Conner College of Law at Arizona State University. Dr. Hunnicutt currently serves as the Director of Legal Services for the Arizona School Administrators' Association. In addition, she serves on the state council for Advanced Ed (North Central Accreditation) of PK-12 schools. Dr. Hunnicutt has two children and five grandchildren. Patrick Doyle Governing Board Member Email: patrick.doyle@lesd.k12.az.us Patrick and his family have lived in the district since 2002. He is a west valley native, attended Scott L.Libby Elementary and graduated from Agua Fria High School. He has been involved with children while teaching swimming lessons, coaching swim team, and conducting Fire Pal presentations. He is a captain in the Goodyear Fire Department. He also served as a state trustee for the Professional Firefighters of Arizona. Patrick ran for school board with the intentions of maintaining the high standards and quality that have become a trademark of the Litchfield Elementary School District.	Patrick Doyle
