Fall Game Recaps

Boys Volleyball

Game 1 vs. HER

The Cats got off to a solid start to this year's contests with tight serving from Justin B. and Brody W. Communication played a key  role in the many spikes at the net from Anthony C. as the guys won their first match in two games. They certainly expect things to heat up on Thursday when they meet LTH at home. Keep up the steady improvement every day fellas!

Game 2 vs. LTH

Well if you saw the games, these Wildcats were certainly ready when the 1-0 Pride came in to the jungle. They were laser focused on their serving, solid for each other in their teamwork, and relentless in their determination. They jumped all over LTH with creative sets that lead to powerful spikes to keep their opponents from getting any momentum at all.  Brody W. was consistent again with another stellar serving performance, as was Tristen R. The dynamic duo of Ayden R. and Anthony C. simply owned the net, and when Cameron H. and Darius A. were there to assist, it became clear whose real estate this was. Keep on getting better each practice, and enjoy the days like this, where it all comes together! Great team effort!

Game 3 vs. BS

In their first game away from the home gym, nerves got the better of our boys on occasion as they committed a few uncommon mistakes and mental errors, which we haven't seen yet this season.  Strong leadership from Ayden R. and Anthony C. got the Cats back on track as they played steady for the most part, resetting their plays and covering the court with hustle, as the Storm was a solid bunch with good volleying technique. A super serving performance from Frankie P. kept the guys ahead to stay in game two as the boys finished the match in two games 25-11, and 25-10.. Next up are the Mustangs. We'll all be glad to be back in our house on Thursday, fellas!
