It is such a pleasure being a part of the Litchfield Park community. I have had ties to Litchfield Park since I was a year old. My father was stationed at Luke Air Force base, from Germany, for five years. When I turned 6 my family decided to make Arizona and the United States their home.
I was raised in the West Valley and married at the Church of Litchfield Park. My husband and I raised four amazing children here. They all had the privilege of going to school in the Litchfield District. They attended Palm Valley and Corte Sierra Elementary schools and all four of them went to Western Sky Middle School. They all graduated from Millennium High School.
I have been in education for over 20 years. I began my tenure in the Litchfield District by completing my student teaching at Palm Valley Elementary School. I began teaching here at Litchfield Elementary School as a Kindergarten teacher in 2001. From there I had the privilege of opening a new school, Corte Sierra. I taught 3rd grade and became the reading specialist there. In 2009, I moved over to Palm Valley Elementary School as an Instructional Coach and then transferred to Western Sky Middle School as the Assistant Principal. I feel I came full circle when I became the principal here at Litchfield in 2015.
It’s an honor to be part of an amazing community that comes together to inspire individuals every opportunity every day.
