What makes LESD Preschool so exceptional?

* While nearly all commercial daycare centers and preschools use teachers with minimal credentials, ALL LESD preschool teachers are licensed and certified through the state department of education.  All have at least a Bachelors degree and many have Masters degrees as well.  CLICK HERE to learn the difference between certified and minimally credentialed teachers.

* Our preschools focus on developmentally appropriate learning opportunities within a social setting through the use of engaging structured play experiences and research-proven curricula.

The Litchfield Elementary School District proudly offers a quality, standards-based Preschool Program which is licensed through the Arizona Department of Health Services. This hands-on, interactive program is geared to the developmental stages of three-, four- and five-year-old children in a multi-age classroom setting. Our preschool program is focused on kindergarten readiness and is a wonderful way to prepare your child for our exemplary Litchfield Schools. Nutritious snacks are provided by the LESD Food Services Department and are included in the monthly tuition. We are excited to have the Fundations literacy component in our preschool programs!

Preschool Requirements 2020-2021 School Year: Children must be 3 years old by August 3, 2019, fully toilet trained (able to use the bathroom independently) and must live within the LESD boundaries. Children who are five years old by August 31, 2019 should be registered for kindergarten.
